Psalmist Deanna Ransom has been delighting audiences with her unique sound since 2005 when she burst onto the scene with the release of, Never Say Never Again. Hers is a melodic sound that blends Gospel, Jazz, R&B, and World Music to give God glory. Today, Ransom is taking her ministry to another level with the release of her new Youtube campaign called, Discover Deanna.

Discover Deanna officially launches today and will give new and seasoned fans a behind the scenes view into her inspiration for writing her songs, as well as a look into how she has overcome adversity in her life. Discover Deanna will highlight songs from her album Never Say Never...Again. Every week a new video debuts where Ransom will share her life experiences and how they relate to a particular song on the project.

The first video is about the song, "It's Working." In the video, Ransom shares details of her own near death experience, losing a spouse and life as a single mother, as well as, being homeless. Through each topic, Ransom plans to empower and encourage her fans to become stronger in their faith and hold on to the promise that God has over their lives through the telling of her testimony. In addition to the new video series, Ransom will be bringing The Word on the radio with syndicated radio personality Big Brother CJ for Deanna’s Daily Bible Jump Start. The Big Brother CJ Show is heard nationwide in over 44 markets on Rejoice! Musical Soul Food weekdays from 7PM - 12AM Eastern Standard Time.

Byron Cage has been on staff at Ebenezer AME Church in Fort Washington, MD for years.  When news of his becoming the new Minister of Music for St. Paul’s Baptist Church in July, questions swirled regarding his church commitment with many wanting to know if and why had left Ebenezer AME Church.   Today Cage put the questions to rest, "I have been blessed to be a part of the Ebenezer AME Church family for the past 15 years," says Cage.  "Under the pastoral leadership of Pastors Rev. Drs. Grainger and Jo Ann Browning, I currently serve as the Senior Minister of Church Worship And Music Administration and direct the King's Men Choir."

Cage is proving that he is more than a one-dimensional man and minister.  In addition to his current position at Ebenezer, Cage was selected as the Minister of Music at St. Paul's Baptist Church in Richmond, VA, under the guidance of Pastor Lance Watson.  "The Lord has opened another door for me to yield my gift and anointing as Minister of Music to St. Paul's Baptist Church," explains Cage.  "I am so thankful to be able to share my ministry at both churches."

Pastor and Gospel recording artist, Marvin Sapp, will be coming out with his own reality television series in October 2012. The reality series, Marvin Sapp, Single Dad, is a behind the scenes look at Sapp as he raises two teens and a tween while pastoring a church, maintaining a music career and fighting off the women who like to say, "God told me you are my husband."

Though Sapp lost his wife and best friend, First Lady Malinda Prince Sapp, September 2010, Sapp has continued to release great music and lead his church, Lighthouse Full Life Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The church is home to several ministries: Kingdom Kids, Virtue and Valor University, and College Ministry to name a few, and covers two satellite churches, The Freedom Campus with Pastor Eric and First Lady Freda Tolbert in Battle Creek, Michigan and Light House Full Gospel Center in Fairfield, California under the direction of Pastor Phillip and Lady Rehema Pete.

Michelle Williams will release her third Gospel album in January 2013. This comes after an announcement from James Robinson, President of Light Records, that Williams has now signed a new record deal.

“It’s an honor to work with an icon like Michelle Williams and her team,” said Robinson. “As a fan of her other two inspirational projects, I was drawn to Michelle’s comfort, confidence and genuineness. With her pure heart for God and people, our goal is to continue her brand of love, faith and encouragement through song.”

The Gospel Sensation and Broadway star, started her career as one-third of Destiny’s Child, but has now carved out her own path deep rooted in her faith. In 2002, Williams released the award-winning “Heart To Yours” and “Do You Know” in 2004.

“I am very excited to partner with Light/eOne. I am honored to follow in the footsteps of Light Record legends, THE WINANS and ANDRAE CROUCH,” says Williams. “When I was a little girl I would listen to them. To be on the same label they once were is amazing. Light/eOne has been very supportive of my vision to inspire and give hope through my music.”

Williams has worked with incredible artists including the legendary Shirley Caesar. Her new project will include a variety of producers including Tommy Sims and James Fortune. Williams will be releasing a new single this fall.
