According to Joy105, Kim Burrell, known for having one of the most prolific voices in Gospel music, has been filming a reality television series called, “Whatever It Takes,” for the last year. “I’ll do whatever it takes to sustain the momentum of my success as long as I have my dream team,” says Kim Burrell in a promotional clip featured on Youtube. The series will feature Burrell and her team which consists of flamboyant brand manager, Krishnar Lewis, Karen Smith, Kenneth Jackson & the team members of the Manhattan-based PR & Management firm, Lewis Agency.


Cameras have been rolling for over a year now, and will showcase Kim and Krishnar as they make their way through real hardships, real triumphs, real drama, real life, and real love. Kim Burrell is a world-renowned Gospel singer who has a singing career that spans more than 20 years and has recently burst onto the seen a big way. In addition to her duties as a Pastor and Spiritual Mentor, Burrell is a budding actress and TV personality. Krishnar Lewis is an entertainer, industry-entrepreneur, and most notably known as a top male fashion model.

Burrell started out as a client of Lewis’ firm, he was instrumental in rebranding Burrell when she lost more than 150 pounds. Though rebranding created a stir and controversy among the Christian community, the two quickly became great friends and business partners with several ventures. Pastor and Gospel recording artist, Marvin Sapp, will be coming out with his own reality television series in October 2012. The reality series, Marvin Sapp, Single Dad, is a behind the scenes look at Sapp as he raises two teens and a tween while pastoring a church, maintaining a music career and fighting off the women who like to say, "God told me you are my husband."

Though Sapp lost his wife and best friend, First Lady Malinda Prince Sapp, September 2010, Sapp has continued to release great music and lead his church, Lighthouse Full Life Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The church is home to several ministries: Kingdom Kids, Virtue and Valor University, and College Ministry to name a few, and covers two satellite churches, The Freedom Campus with Pastor Eric and First Lady Freda Tolbert in Battle Creek, Michigan and Light House Full Gospel Center in Fairfield, California under the direction of Pastor Phillip and Lady Rehema Pete.
