Bangin' Baked Beans | Soul Food in Stilettos Kitchen

Jazz up that boring can of Baked Beans with this very simple recipe.  Special thanks to Stiletto Mommy, Tee Tunnell Harris for allowing me to film in her kitchen :-) Baked Beans are great with most meals. This dish was created for a family cook out and the taste was great with our grilled Turkey Burgers & Hot Dogs!!

Ingredients:
  • 1 Can of Baked Beans (We used Busch's Vegetarian Baked Beans)
  • 1/4 Cup Diced Onion
  • 1/4 Cup Diced Green Bell Pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon of Mustard
  • 1 Tablespoon of Brown Sugar (We used Dark Brown Sugar but it doesn't matter)
  • 1 Tablespoon of Sweet Relish
Directions:Combine all ingredients into your pot and let simmer for approximately 20 minutes. For best taste, serve hot.

  2. Cook your meat thoroughly.  Add in your seasonings
  3. Once the meat is cooked, add in the packet of Chilli Seasoning. Mix the seasoning throughout the meat
  4. Add your vegetables
  5. Serve by plating your Doritos, Meat, and top with Salsa con Queso
