Dress up the normal boring green bean side dish with this recipe.

What do you need?

Dress up boring and mundane green beans with this recipe!
Here's what you need:
  • One (1) 15.4 oz Can of Green Beans (you can also opt for half cup of fresh or frozen green beans)
  • One (1) 4oz can of Mushrooms (You can also opt for half cup of fresh mushrooms)
  • Half Cup of sliced Sweet Onions
  • Seasoning (I use Mrs. Dash, but you can use the seasoning of your choice)
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter or Margarine
  • 2 Tablespoons of Vinegar (You can use either Distilled White Vinegar or Apply Cider Vinegar)
  • Skillet

Let's Get Cookin'!

  1. Melt 1 Tablespoon of butter or margarine in a skillet
  2. Saute the mushrooms and onion. (Cook down to your liking.  My family likes to still have a little crunch in the onion so I usually cook for just about 3 or 4 minutes)
  3. Remove mushrooms and onion from the skillet and put on the side
  4. Melt 1 Tablespoons of butter or margarine in your skillet
  5. Add Green beans to skillet try to get butter coated on as many green beans as possible.
  6. Add vinegar to green beans. Stir and mix vinegar into beans
  7. Add mushrooms and onion to green beans mix thoroughly.
  8. Cover
  9. Simmer for 5-10 minutes stirring occasionally
  10. Serve hot...YUMMMYYYY!
